Group meetings and meetups come in 4 delicious flavors:

IRC (Vanilla) Join us in #autonomy on irc://irc.freenode.org/, this channel if for casual talks, and everyone is welcome. This is currently our primary means of communication, second to the mailing list.
Informeetups (Beer) Informal Meetings, usually at some place fun (like the pub), here we meet and share ideas, and plan for the next main event. These are managed on Zoji.
  • Informal Meet-Up No. 1
Mailing List (Coffee) The mailing list is where more official group movements are communicated. It is also recommended that you join this list to get the latest news.
Mainevents (Chocolate) This is where it all comes together, talks, presentations, demonstrations, projects, puzzles, discussions, and pizza. These are managed on Zoji - See the Mainevents page for details of the next main event.
To engage in the study of ideas in relation to intelligence, in its broadest sense - Emotional, Physical, Artificial (AI and AGI), Mathematical, Magical - Psychology, Cognitive Sciences, and the Mind - Neurology, Brain Sciences, Brain Theory, and the Brain - Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Anthropology, and the Body - Philosophy, Logic, and Common Sense; the Arts, the depth and breadth of Human Thought as it is reflected in the enormity of science.

Please Support PSIGMATECK

Please support the group, the proceeds will go towards the venue hire, recording, and publishing costs.

If you can't donate, that's okay - there are other ways you can help; We are (always) looking for volunteers!

  1. Members - enthusiasm and inquisitive engagement
  2. Speakers - passionate about an idea
  3. Video Recording & Editing - recording and editing of talks for publishing

If you are interested, please join us in IRC (see below) or contact the list; this is a new group and we need volunteers to make it work!

This group is inspired by TED: Ideas Worth Spreading - Riveting talks by remarkable people, free to the world.
The group is in debit to the wonderful staff at UNSW without whose support, our events would not be possible.
A very special thankyou to Atlassian for supporting the user group; the Atlassian software suite (Confluence, JIRA, FishEye) is invaluable to the group.
